We’re thrilled that three of Promodo’s case studies have been shortlisted for the European Search Awards 2025, making us the only company from Ukraine to be recognized in this prestigious competition.

About Promodo

Founded in Ukraine, Promodo has grown into a global full-service marketing agency with 5 international offices and a professional team of 480 in-house experts.

We specialize in a 360° marketing approach that combines a full range of services, including SEO, PPC, analytics, retention marketing, strategy, UX/UI design, mobile marketing, social media marketing (SMM), and media.

For over 20 years, we’ve been turning digital strategies into real business growth across eCommerce, retail, finance, healthcare, automotive, and more. This commitment to impact has earned us recognition as one of the world’s top marketing agencies by Clutch.

Three Campaigns. Three Approaches. One Standard of Excellence.

This year, the European Search Awards jury recognized three Promodo case studies that showcase our problem-solving mindset and ability to tackle complex challenges with unconventional solutions.

1. Promodo & Comfy — Algorithm Exile: When a Market Leader Vanishes from Google

After the Link Spam Update in December 2022, COMFY— Ukraine’s largest electronics retailer — lost 37% of its organic traffic and revenue from the SEO channel. We tested dozens of SEO hypotheses and cleaned up the backlink profile, but the real breakthrough came when we focused on improving the user experience, from updating content to removing unnecessary clicks. Over a year of effort without visible results finally paid off: the share of top keywords in the TOP-3 jumped from 3% to 25%, and both traffic and revenue exceeded pre-drop levels.

2. Promodo & Varle.lt — Search Substitute for Unavailable Google Shopping

Varle.lt, one of the largest electronics and appliance retailers in Lithuania, set an ambitious goal for 2024: grow Google Ads sales by 10% and boost ROAS — all without increasing the budget. With Google Shopping unavailable in Lithuania, we turned to search ads and custom automation to reach high-intent users searching for specific product models. Using Promodo’s G-MOS tool, we launched search ad groups for 10,000 products in just 30 minutes and kept campaigns automatically updated with real-time product data. As a result, Varle.lt exceeded its sales target and improved ROAS by 30% — while spending less than planned.

3. Promodo & KLR — G-MOS: Squeezing Every Drop Out of Search Campaigns

KLR is a Ukrainian bus carrier operating 50 routes across 16 European countries, with 100% of ticket sales made online. To compete with well-known European brands and grow non-branded ticket sales, we used Promodo’s PPC automation tool — G-MOS. It generated and updated 50,000 ad groups in just 3 hours. The tool used real-time CRM data to keep Google Ads campaigns accurate and relevant, reacting automatically to route changes and price updates. As a result, ticket sales from the search increased by 5 times.

What This Recognition Means to Us
