Majestic is delighted to sponsor the 10th Anniversary European Search Awards in Barcelona. Our history of involvement in the European Search Awards dates back to their inception in 2012. Since that memorable evening in Amsterdam, this celebration of excellence in Search and Digital marketing has toured Europe, showcasing the very best this continent has to offer. We offer our congratulations to the team at Don’t Panic for building an awesome set of events that enrich the marketing calendar.

As a firm specialising in link data for digital marketing, it’s unsurprising that brand exposure to industry thought leaders is a strong justification for our involvement. We have to admit that the awesome hospitality, guest hosts, and fantastic catering provide an enticing motivation for involvement.

However, there are other, more succinct benefits from our partnership with Don’t Panic. The diversity of awards provides important insight into our industry. The judging panel are formed by industry experts who have the expertise and experience to provide real insight as to what merits recognition in terms of success, impact and innovation. The result has been an amazing rolling documentation of innovators, the innovations and important industry trends. Our ongoing involvement has given a unique perspective on how our sector continues to grow, adapt and succeed.

The summer of 2019, when Budapest played host to the European Search Awards may be just three years ago, but now seems so long ago, almost a different era.

Although the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the series of live and in-person events, Majestic continued to support and sponsor the Search Awards throughout. It was amazing to see the search industry adapt to the huge changes and difficult circumstances. For those familiar with search, the resilience of our industry and ability to adapt to imposed change at short notice should come as no surprise. Our trade, is after all, built on the ability to adapt to a changing search landscape and to help our clients achieve success.

As a firm more used to developing innovative software than delivering innovations in marketing campaigns, we faced a number of our own challenges in adapting to the pandemic. These ranged from an overnight change to fully-remote working, to other adaptions like the logistic challenge of turning the Majestic Board Room into a production studio to support presentations at remote events!

Having spent far too much time in front of our green screen, we can’t wait to make our way to Barcelona to celebrate the shortlisted candidates and winners in person. We look forward to seeing you at the 2022 Don’t Panic European Search Awards.
