WeDiscover shortlisted for 6 awards at the  European Search Awards

WeDiscover is a Performance Marketing and Technology agency, differentiating itself by blending marketing industry knowledge with tech expertise in data analysis, coding and more.

Founded in March 2020, doubling in team size over the last year and with further rapid expansion set for the year ahead again, WeDiscover is currently focussed on sustainable growth whilst maintaining an incredible culture and building a diversely talented team of exceptional individuals undertaking novel projects and delivering record breaking results for clients. 

It is therefore incredibly exciting to have been nominated for six awards at the European Search Awards, especially as the nominations follow on from WeDiscover recently being announced as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces – in the top 100 of small companies across the country!

A sneak peak into a couple of the projects being celebrated:

Mastering First-Party Data Strategies

When partnering with Virgin Bet to supercharge paid search performance, we wanted to start from the bottom up.

We began by working together with the Virgin Bet team to develop the data infrastructure to improve internal data quality, which had a huge knock-on impact in leading us to being able to utilise that data within paid search platforms (Google Ads & Search Ads 360) to dramatically increase profitably, and turn those channels into major growth engines within the business.

Through effective utilisation of first-party data in novel ways, we drove a 34% reduction in channel CPA, whilst also setting both the channel and the company up for the long term, future-proofing to ensure perfect positioning to continue to employ targeted data led strategies in interesting ways to further develop the account.

Balancing Local Supply & Demand Through Paid Search

When working with The AA Driving School, we were looking to find an innovative approach to the utilisation of internal first-party data within marketing platforms, to create sophisticated models that allow for real time decision making. 

Ultimately these were made from scratch in order to tackle the complex issue of balancing supply and demand in a hyper-localised way across the UK. With the final model being fully automated with little manual input required, it is now being used to acquire new customers at a much higher efficiency than before.

As we move into a cookie-less world where reliance on first-party data becomes increasingly important for businesses, we are proud to be recognised for being at the forefront of exploring how advertisers can better utilise that data to drive extraordinary results.

Reflecting on the journey

Just 1.25 years ago in December 2022 WeDiscover won its first ever award, for Best Small PPC Agency in the UK, at the UK Search Awards.

Now, with employees having almost doubled in that short time, it is incredible to celebrate the achievement of best agency in a new category, as a medium sized company at these awards.

It is a testament to a culture that fosters collaboration, innovation, and both employee and client happiness, setting the stage for continued growth and excellence, and allowing WeDiscover to cut through a crowded industry through unique approaches to solving complex problems for a diverse range of businesses.
