UK-based SEO Agency Reddico picked up the prize for Best Large SEO Agency at this year’s European Search Awards.

Founded in 2012, the agency has grown into a team of 40+ SEO and digital marketing professionals, with an impressive client list that includes leading brands such as Auto Trader, BlackRock, Compare the Market and Love Holidays.

The company has been on something of a roll over the last 12 months, having also picked up wins at the UK Search Awards and Drum Awards for Digital Industries for their work with the Cotswold Company. Reddico was also one of the first pure-play SEO agencies in the world to gain B Corp certification last year.

In naming Reddico as the winner, the judges said:

“We were impressed to see the high commercial performance of this agency, but also a focus on the things that matter such as gender pay gaps, culture, training, and mental health. It was also great that this agency put their staff front and centre, giving them as much of a focus as the revenue and business growth. The recent client work was explained in detail and with quantifiable numbers. A truly deserving winner.”

A key element of Reddico’s winning entry was a campaign for Auto Trader. The client wanted to boost their site authority and organic traffic in the fast-growing EV space, so Reddico devised a content and digital PR outreach campaign that resulted in the delivery of a 12x increase in traffic to Auto Trader’s electric vehicles pages and the third-highest share of voice in the UK for the top 200 keywords.

One of Reddico’s key differentiators is that it develops its own unique technologies to help the team work more efficiently and effectively, including Lacuna Cloud – a suite of tools to collect and analyse website performance data using AI.

Managing Director Nick Redding, who attended the awards event in Lisbon said:

“Winning the Best Large SEO Agency award at the European Search Awards is pretty much the pinnacle of awards you can win – it’s a super proud moment for me. We’ve come a long way as an agency in the last 10 years (it was only three years ago we won the Best Small SEO Agency at the European awards), and I know awards don’t define us, but they do help guide us along the way. And for me, this is an indication that we are heading in the right direction.”

Reddico has its sights set firmly on becoming the SEO agency of choice for the enterprise market and is now part of the Sideshow Group of agencies, giving the company access to an impressive client portfolio and additional group capabilities to fuel growth.
