The team that bring you the European Search Awards ‘Myth Bust’ who can enter, who can win and why you should get involved.

Who can enter?

Open to large and small agencies working in PPC, SEO and content marketing. Many entrants have been entering year on year since they began which can be off-putting for small and start-up teams, however, categories are designed to ensure small agencies are pitted against agencies of similar size and areas of expertise, there is even a category dedicated to start-up agencies. The category criteria for small agencies is 25 or less employees and for Start-Up agencies less than 2 years old.

Can first-time entrants win awards?

Yes, first-time entrants do win categories and often more than one. Judges are interested only in this years entries, campaigns and teams. They are looking for innovative and creative work that has exceeded objectives and benchmarks for the industry as a whole. They don’t care if you have entered before, they only care about recognising and rewarding the best. In 2022 first time entrants Semads, Coinmarket and Redonline all took away trophies!

Can I enter more than one category?

You can enter your work multiple times if you have a stand-out campaign that ticks the criteria of more than one category. Equally, if you feel you have more than one stand-out campaign that could win one category, you can pit your campaigns and client work against each other! Multiple-Award-Winner has a fantastic ring to it!

Is it expensive to enter?

All entries will be charged an administration fee of £210 (+VAT) for submissions before Friday, February 17 and £270 (+VAT) for standard entries. The deadline is Friday, March 03. For entrants entering multiple awards, we offer an exclusive multiple-entry discount. All entrants will receive feedback from the judging panel. Finalists and winners are invited to blog about their work and the industry on the Awards website. For benefits of entering visit the website.

Do we have to attend the Awards ceremony?

Attending the awards ceremony is a fantastic opportunity to get dressed up, celebrate your work with your team, and to network with industry peers and the judges, however, it is not compulsory. Winners will be announced on social media on the night and the winners’ page on the website will be live 24hrs after the event.

Can we trust the results?

The European Search Awards are judged by a panel of over 90 industry expert judges, who follow a robust two-step process that determines shortlists and overall winners. Judges sign an NDA to ensure that judges do not discuss case studies and entries beyond the judging panel. The Awards have been accredited ‘Outstanding’ by the Independent Awards Standards Council because of the rigorous, ethical and transparent process that is followed.
